Pluralism: An Islamic Perspective

  • By WCMIR

WCMIR Monthly Forum

Sunday, June 26th, 2022
3pm Chicago Time

Topic:  Pluralism: An Islamic Perspective

Speaker: Dr. Javeed Akhter

Topic description: Pluralism is a gift of Islam to humanity. Muslims need to be reminded of their glorious pluralistic past. Non-Muslims need to be educated about Islam’s inclusive values. There is a need for networking with like-minded people and groups. The speaker will discuss the strategies for living in a pluralistic world, making the world better, and preserving Islamic values. He will also introduce ISPI’s current project on pluralism with Indiana University.
