Interaction with the Quran: Revisiting Principles
Dr. Israr Ahmad Khan will discuss ways to benefit from the Qur’an through reflections and meaningful interactions. He will highlight the various principles that help in better understanding of the Qur’an. This is a must-presentation for all students of the Qur’an who want to understand the Qur’an in the context of their own time and space.

Dr. Israr Ahmad Khan is currently Professor, Department of Tafsir, Faculty of Ilahiyat, Social Sciences University of Ankara, Turkiye. He has also served as Professor, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University, Istanbul, Turkiye and Professor, Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University, Malaysia. Dr. Khan has published 15 books in English, such as 1) Qur’anic Studies: An Introduction, (2) Understanding the Qur’an: A Reflection, (3) Theory of Abrogation: A Critical Evaluation, (4) Authentication of Hadith: Redefining the Criteria, (5) Judgments of the Last Prophet (s.a.w.), (6) The Qur’an: The Emancipator of the Mankind, (7) Human Life Values: Qur’anic Directives as well as 73 Papers in International Refereed Journals. He has attended conferences throughout the world and presented 89 Papers. His areas of teaching include Qur’anic Studies, Tafsir, Hadith Studies, Critique of Hadith Compendia, Islamic Studies.
